If you go to one Modernism Week house tour, make sure it’s this one.
Why? This is no ordinary house tour. Sure, you get to wander a beautiful house and glean inspiration for your own home. What sets this tour apart is that after you’ve wandered you’re invited to dip your toes in the pool. Enjoy a cocktail and appetizers while the homeowners / designers spill all the secrets that make this home so beautiful.
If you happened to attend the Modernism Week house tour here during Fall Preview, we invite you to come once more! The home’s interior is full of inspiring ideas—donning a fresh take on mid century style and kitchen updates that will have you rethinking an often overlooked material.
Back by popular demand—and even better! Come dip your toes in the pool and enjoy a refreshing cocktail – all while being let in on the design secrets of Green Gables, one of Palm Springs’ most stylish pads.
Our poolside talk with Palm Springs design/build experts Kevin Kemper and Howard Hawkes of H3K Design takes place at one of their fabulous homes in the Twin Palms neighborhood. Find out what they’ve done to restore and personalize this 1958 Palmer and Krisel-designed high gable house – including how to spot the various takes on mid century style.
You’ll walk away with plenty of fresh ideas to implement in your own home!
What to Expect:
No matter if you’ve been to our design seminars before or not, you’ll definitely want to join in on this exciting event. We’re leaving behind the lecture hall in favor of chatting poolside! That’s right, the entire event takes place at a beautifully renovated mid century modern home. You’ll have time to tour the house, take pictures and jot down ideas. Then, join us in the backyard for a design discussion with real-life tips and advice. You’ll leave inspired and equipped!
